Please. TLS acts as if law students should be "cloistered clerics". BS. There are a number of long-distance relationships and make less distance relationships between folks....it doesn't seem to matter too much really.
At least, not until November.
i'd never seen the popular TLS advice telling people to be celibate, but it seems stupid to me. we all know what works for us, that's how we got here. keep doing it, maybe kick up the intensity a few levels, and everything should be fine.*
*full disclosure, i haven't yet been through finals.

Thanks! It's nice to see some support on here

There is actually usually alot of support on here! If you dont mind posting your numbers some of us could tell you what we think your shot it. (you could even say as little as above or below median for your numbers). In any case let us know when you hear back!

That's a good question. I've wondered why more people don't fax in their ED contract. I did and it was processed the same day. I was told by the folks in admissions that I could fax it in to this number:
(434) 982-2128
Hope that helps!

Not a bad idea. I Fedex overnighted out of nervousness, it was received and posted to my account on the same day, so its efficiently posted no matter how you decide to send it in.

An additional neurotic question... if I am registered for the December LSAT but want them to consider my application without the score, should I put this in an addendum or just email the adcomm?
I just want it to be fifteen days from now.

I emailed Trujillo, and he told me I could actually email the ED contract to him. So, sent it as a pdf attachment. I guess you're allowed to do that too. Save you some trouble...

I wish i would have known you could fax or email that contract, would have saved me some time and money as i overnighted it with the post office and UVA took like 4 days to process it lol

My status still says "File Complete, Pending Review/Decision." Will that change when the application actually goes under review or will they just keep me in suspense?

It doesn't change. In fact, they didn't change my status to accepted until the day after I got my call.

I've been looking over some UVA posts and I'm starting to wonder, just how serious is softball at the school? Like should I go out and buy a glove/bat or can I just go in my attic and grab my antique little league glove haha

Haha this would be a question for:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =4&t=86231
I am assuming that you can "rent" a bat and glove from the rec sports department there, or at least thats how many other schools work.

No. Buy a glove/get one that is good and get a pair of cleats. Softball here is a pretty big deal. It probably isn't too far from the truth to say that the easiest way to make friends/get involved in the UVA culture is to become/be good at softball.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
