For those of you who have already submitted deposits - when you guys login to the Admitted Students' Site...when you click on "Intent to Enroll and Deposit Payment," does it give you the option to leave an electronic signature and click "I Agree" again?

Because I paid my deposit a few days ago and I got a confirmation receipt over e-mail but when I'm perusing the site it still gives me that option to sign again or whatever. I'm confused! I just want it to be official......

So, has this happened to anyone else?

I never got the email either— I just went to webpage linked from the admitted student page and tried and it worked.

Also: beware! You get a standard address (initials + 3 digit #), and you can then go and make a "personal" email which will allow you to make it as you like. But you can only change it once a year! So if you do it, make sure you do it right.

I did (first-initial)(last-name)@nyu.edu before realizing that it's more standard to do (first-name).(last-name)@nyu.edu and now I can't change it for a year. At least the one I did is fine.

I'm actually disappointed by the fact that we don't get super snazzy @law.nyu.edu addresses.

I believe we do. I mean, I think it works whether you send to @nyu.edu OR @law.nyu.edu. I think.

EDIT: Eh, maybe not. Tried and failed. I could've sworn I saw that somewhere... 4 valid email addresses, two each for your "personal" one and auto-generated one. Maybe I'm losing it.

Not sure how to do it on other programs but i send/receive from firstname.lastname@law.nyu.edu through apple mail, so its definitely a valid email address that works.

Did you change it in the personal email section then? I'm going to try that now and hope it works. If not that's my one change for the year, so I'll be stuck with my assigned one. I'll play guinea pig and let you all know if it works.

Yeah, I've agreed and deposited and accepted scholarship and even signed up with @nyu.edu email address and it still gives me that same electronic signature option. I don't think it goes away once you've done it.

Okay, I figured out why I thought there were four valid email addresses.

If you log in at NYUHome, then click on the email link on the upper right side, it takes you to "Messenger Express." Then click on "Options" and it shows you a list of your valid email addresses, and there are four of them (at least there are once you've set up your personal email address).

However, two of them are not @law.nyu.edu, like I thought; they're the much more boring @mail.nyu.edu.

The fact that there are four of them maybe suggests that the law.nyu.edu might be added later when somebody somewhere flips some switch? Don't really know.

In honor of my 1500 post-iversary, I wrote an ode to our favorite law school. It's not a work of art, but it's the message that counts!

Oh how I love NYU,
Washed in it's deep purple hue.
Some people say it's for hipsters,
But really it's full of A-listers.
It offers unbeatable clinics
And also unbeatable tickets
To pro sports and broadway shows,
Although if we'll have time for that, who knows?
But we'll still rally for the Blawbcat
And not be like the study mob at
That school uptown we don't speak of.
Plus we actually place in PI/gov.
We'll know how to convict those who pillage,
And have fun cuz hell yeah we're in the Village!
At the school with the deep purple hue,
The one and only NYU.

As a disclaimer I'm a 2L that stopped by out of curiosity about the incoming class o 1Ls They may activate it later, I certainly never did anything to start it..I just checked it one day when I was updating my resume and it worked. So at some point if definitely will.
