I guess you answered my question..they do deny ED applicants. I got waitlisted

hate to be the bringer of bad news but WL at UVA is soft deny. they haven't taken anyone off the waitlist in years.

I have been reinstated. Sorry for getting off topic in this thread. I am now enrolled in my local TLS Anonymous chapter and will be a productive and useful citizen in the TLS community.

I wouldn't get too freaked out or by the same token be too overconfident. 171 is probably better, but not a guaranteed golden ticket either. Your numbers are going to give you a decent shot.

i had a GPA addendum that attested to health problems in my freshman year of college that required me to withdraw mid-semester and transfer UG institutions. was under the impression that medical issues would not hurt my application.

no criminal or disciplinary addenda.

Yea you could always e-mail/call one of the admission directors and ask. Cant hurt, its not like it affects your chances...

Thats why i think that last post was a joke, every dumbass knows that Ivy schools grade inflate like crazzzy and no admissions rep is going to be like "oh but he went to Penn, thats better then these other schools" because they dont care.

Oh and P.S heartsboy a WL is definitely a deny in your case.

No grade inflation at my school. And you mean to say there is no grade inflation at those big state schools where any loser can get accepted in the first place.
At some of these state schools they have students that can't read who get A's...that's not grade inflation?

you went to any ivy, congratulations. understand that they are other institutions besides ivies from which -- surprise -- you can still receive an excellent education. some of us are there (like myself) because we're making money to go to school.

if you went to an ivy, that's teriffic. don't use it as as excuse to talk down to others.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that the UVA Class of 2014 thread (as well as other C/O threads) is for those planning on attending UVA (or the respective school). I don't expect to see you posting in this thread or any other C/O threads unless it's the school you've been admitted to and are planning to attend.

Does anyone else who is married (which i plan on being rigth before law school) even get apartments with others? I was thinking about finding a 1 bedroom, or even a 2 bedroom for 750 a month (super cheap) for just me and my girlfriend. Would it be weird to have a roomate while living with your gf/wife?

Does this just not happen?
