Probably. I'm debating living with a friend from high school who already lives there so he knows things/can do the hunting/I can just be a mooch..

From what i saw for housing off campus, it looks like i can do it for much cheaper... an extra 700$ a month just to live near the law school, when 2L and 3L people said that taking the subway wasn't a big difference? I could buy a new laptop every month for the year for that kind of price difference... Some of these places googlemaps says is about 1/2 hour on the subway.

Oh yeah, I totally understand the reasons for not living on campus. I just thought that considering the number of people they say usually live there there was a very small number of TLSers planning on doing so.

Been out of college 3 years living in a real grown-up apartment. I can't go back to dorms. Plus I like to cook too much and the kitchens at NYU student housing were pretty abysmal. Also, I am living with my sister who unfortunately won't qualify for student housing.

Yeah I was all for student housing until I started looking into things and saw how much cheaper Brooklyn is. I'm still open to student housing if I don't find anything decent. I'll just have to see.

Yay! It sounds like there are several Gators going, and I know for a fact the class will have a decent Trojan showing, so it looks like college football season is going to be AWESOME!!! Plus it'll be way more fun to vent our competitiveness that way!
