haha I figured Chrome wasn't letting me in because Chrome does that with MLawlive but I tried it on Firefox and access denied for me as well.blowhard wrote:Nope, I get access denied even when logged in. Random Rant: wtf is it with their website and chrome!? Every time I go into the admitted students' site I have to open up Firefox (which I hate by comparison) b/c the site doesn't play nice with chrome (I can see the "main page" of the admitted students site, but if I click on any of the links, it bounces me back to the login page). Drives me bonkers.Joan Hollaway wrote:

Yeah, it drives me nuts as well. It does something similar when it comes to MLawLive and the site where Job Listings are posted. I just keep a bunch of firefox tabs open with those sites.sanguar wrote:Random Rant: wtf is it with their website and chrome!? Don't remember whether the admitted students site worked fine with Chrome but I can vouch for some Michigan webpages that require logins not working well with it.NZA wrote:Really?Joan Hollaway wrote:Yeah, it drives me nuts as well. Certain sites don't work in Opera either. It's bizarre because they just give browser error message. For the longest time I thought the site itself was busted.

Re: Michigan Class of 2014
This is especially nuts because I always use Firefox and, lately, I've had to open Chrome to access the mail & money portion of the site. I never used to have a problem in Firefox, but now it's bouncing me back to the login page.NZA wrote:Really?Joan Hollaway wrote:Yeah, it drives me nuts as well. Okay, I bought a winter coat and am now prepared for Ann Arbor. Did any of the other Darrows receive any information about the Darrow breakfast that we are supposed to have?
How are we going to know who the other TLS'ers are? I don't want to have to stare suspicously at everyone.

I haven't heard anything else about the Darrow breakfast either. Also, I bet you that you'll leave the weekend not knowing who many of the TLSers are. Some of us only plan to, uh, divulge that to certain people.sarahh wrote:Okay, I bought a winter coat and am now prepared for Ann Arbor. Sorry buddy. That's a great test score; I wouldn't give up hope on Cornell. It may, however, take them a few years to finish reviewing your app.LSATurday wrote:Rejected via snail. Early Jan app. 3.3/173.

Dean Z has a new blog post...might be a dealbreaker for me. I can't sing worth a damn and certainly have no talent for country music.

Congrats to all in the class of 2014. You will love it here. Michigan is awesome as you all know by now (else you wouldn't be coming here). I am a current 3L summer starter about to graduate this coming December and am looking to sublet my apt for this summer.
The apartment is incredibly close - 3 min walk to Law Library and Hutchins - perfect for those early classes. Its a large 1 bedroom apartment with a dedicated study area, large living room, and plenty of windows for sunlight when studying. Parking is available if you need. I can show it to anyone interested during preview weekend or can take pics for those not able to see. The building is quiet and filled with Business School students and other law students - perfect for studying at home. The manager of the building is always available, and since it is owned by a small company, he really gets to know everyone in the buildings. Rent is negotiable, but I am heading into public interest and hoping for somewhere near what I'm paying now. It is available from Mid-May to end of August.

Random/inconsequential thing that makes me happy about Michigan today: downloaded new version of chrome and suddenly the admitted students site works properly. It's the little things....

Re: Michigan Class of 2014
Got the admit package today, though I found out one week ago via ASW (feel like a cheater).
Love how Dean Zearfoss took the time to write a personal message on the letter. I'll have to go through the viewbook more thoroughly tonight.
Can anyone tell me when scholly letter comes? Didn't see one in admit package, was wondering if I'm doomed to pay sticker, if I decide to go. Thanks!!

Found out about my scholly via the ASW last Friday morning, a little over a week after I found out that I was admitted (also learned of this via asw, but got the acceptance packet in the mail the same day as I got asw access). Still haven't received any snail-mail about it though.jrose5 wrote:Got the admit package today, though I found out one week ago via ASW (feel like a cheater).

Since you got ASW access last week, it might show up under the "Mail and Money" section of the ASW by now. I'd at least expect to see it in there in the next few days. No idea about the letter though.

Thanks, guys! All I see is the application for financial aid. No scholarship notice. I'm assuming it either hasn't shown up yet (I just got the admitted students package today), or they didn't give me anything...sanguar wrote:Found out about my scholly via the ASW last Friday morning, a little over a week after I found out that I was admitted (also learned of this via asw, but got the acceptance packet in the mail the same day as I got asw access). Is it just me or did they redo the admitted students' site a little bit and the mail & money button is gone?
