Pretty confident I would finish below median if this happened (not that I won't anyways).law_monkey wrote:Agreed. I wish there was a way to have an all TLS section. Fo shizzle! Especially since we know HYS would fail miserably at that. We would so dominate!RJ127 wrote:They make themselves look pitifullaw_monkey wrote:Bumping due to the lack of conversation this morning. Those Chicago kids are making us look pitiful.. Re: NYU Class of 2014
I feel like this is starting to get posted everywhere so sorry to be redundant, but is anyone interested in looking into off-campus housing (preferably Brooklyn). I've started searching online, and there are actually some affordable options out there. I'm looking into 2 bedrooms since I want my own room, so pm me if you're interested.

What neighborhoods would you recommend? (Wife & I are also looking at Brooklyn. We've been told Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, etc.)bkhopeful wrote:don't need a roommate cause i'm staying in my current place, but you should definitely move to brooklyn! happy to weigh in on neighborhoods, etc.law_monkey wrote:I feel like this is starting to get posted everywhere so sorry to be redundant, but is anyone interested in looking into off-campus housing (preferably Brooklyn). Re: NYU Class of 2014
i live in and LOVE fort greene. clinton hill is on the same train lines, is close to the same restaurants, and has a similar vibe but is a lil less costly. carroll gardens has great food but can feel pretty empty at night and is limited to the F/G lines. i know of a handful of current RTKs living in bed-stuy, which really saves money (and is on the A/C lines). prospect heights/crown heights are cool and affordable but less convenient to NYU in terms of subway lines.somewhere wrote:What neighborhoods would you recommend? I'm gonna be honest, I'm surprised about how few people on here are planning on doing student housing. Considering they said roughly 2/3 of 1Ls live on campus, I was expecting more than the roughly 10% of TLSers to do that.
