i haven't gotten a status checker update for my ED form or anything yet...i figure i can give it 24 hours before i start to get panicky, hahaha. i don't know if anyone's noticed, but law school apps=SO hard on your nerves.

Wow it's weird this thread exists. Congrats to everyone. We'll see you down here real soon. Don't feel like you shouldn't go to ASW just because you applied ED. It was still worthwhile.

I need advice, got an email from Jason Dugas saying he would likt to speak with me about my application. To give min a call when i have a free minute or two tomorrow at xxx-xxx-xxxx does this mean i cannot call untill tomorrow? or can i call him today?

I would really like to call today...

I'd follow the directions and be patient. If he said tomorrow then do it tomorrow. However, just FYI, those calls are almost universally good news.

Jason sent me the same e-mail, and then quickly followed up with an e-mail saying he meant to say "today" so I called him right after. Basically, you've been accepted and he mistakenly said "tomorrow". If it makes you feel more comfortable, reply and say you're also available to call today. He's super nice.

Does it actually update that you applied ED on your status checker? I finally got my application in yesterday and went complete this morning. I faxed my ED form on September 1st and Director Faulk said they received it and were processing it. However, I don't have anything about my ED form on my status checker other than the standard blurb about finding out within 15 days if you applied ED. Does that mean I am not under review for ED yet?

Just FYI, even if you don't get scholarship money with your acceptance, that doesn't mean you won't get any. They do offer scholarship $$$ with some offers, but the bulk is doled out all at once in February or March once they have a picture of the whole admitted class and can decide how to allocate merit funds. I didn't get any scholarship news until the week of March ASW, even though I was admitted in late January.

I am probably just going to wait, i have no reason to rush it. Did he actually ask you any questions about your application? Just curious what to expect

I gonna call early tomorrow, even though part of me wants to call now. It will be a very sad day if its not an acceptance, as i am already feeling as though i am in haha.

My status checker was changed when my ED form was processed (5 days after it arrived to the UVA P.O box). I also recieved an email confirming they recieved my ED form.
