What's wrong with having a regular bullshit thread until we get acceptances, at which point we can do like the other thread??

This is exactly why I'm anxious (even before I've submitted any apps!). Anyone have any idea how common it is to get a call as opposed to snail mail or email? I have limited access to my phone during the day, hopefully they will leave a specific voicemail rather than leaving me to wonder.

Every single one of my acceptances called me. I recommend having a professional voice message just in case.

Okay but if they didn't reach you and had to leave a message was it vague, like "please call" or did was the message "congrats your in" or "sorry - reject" ?

So my problem is that my voice stopped aging at age 13/14, so no matter how professional I try to make it sound like, it still sounds like you've reached the voice mail of an 8th grade girl.

Can I change mine to just counting down the minutes/hours/days/weeks. I've been trying to calculate the smallest significant markers I can use as a countdown 2.5 weeks is approx 5% of the year...so as of noon this Wednesday am only 95% of the year away from moving to Chicago!

Beyond the rankings, I mean people that actually want to go there beyond the fact that it is a top program. Professors, clinics, culture, setting. Ranking isn't the only thing if you aren't happy.
