I just signed up to take the December LSAT. I figure it can't hurt and may help me with financial aid if I score higher. The pressure got to me, but now I really have nothing to lose, so I should be able to keep my composure.

I've got pretty similar numbers - 3.3/170/UG

good luck!

Looks like I won't be going to law school this cycle if I get rejected by UVA right out of the gate.

Probably will be retaking in February and getting a job/staying around another semester at UG.

I'm sorry man. If i get a WL/reject from UVA and don't hit on Cornell/Gtown I'll probably be in the same boat.

Yeah, I just don't feel like writing a new PS and getting different LoR's so my app looks different next cycle. I have apps out at Berkeley and Harvard (I have less than 0% chance at each if I got WL'ed UVA ED) so I'll ride those out. But I'm fully expecting to wait another year and get my 170.

If you do reapply next year, do you have to get new LORs?

This will be a good test, your GPA is above median but not above the 75%. Your ED right?

At a PAD meeting I just heard that about 1/2 the students at my ivy league undergrad who received fee waivers got accepted!!!
My app is pended for review as of today...I gotta have hope!

ED, yes. So is that a bad sign if my gpa is above the median, but not above the 75?. My lsat is low for uva, but just learned that 1/2 the students from my ivy undergrad get in if they have received a fee waiver.......................yes, and I got one!
Also,. I am questionable urm. I think I am, but this board begs to differ. We shall see

Everyone gets fee waivers for UVA, doesn't mean anything.

People with both high and low scores get fee waivers. its no indication that you will be accepted.

Anyways i think your GPA may get you in, but its not sure.

Questionable URM? how so?
