Couldn't find a flight that would give me enough time to arrive Thursday for the festivities.

Are tickets still available?Entchen wrote:Just posted in the ASW 1 thread, but Mich will be hosting CCHA playoff hockey on March 11 & 12. So excited!
Yes, I think they are available online.InvictusFortis wrote:Are tickets still available?Entchen wrote:Just posted in the ASW 1 thread, but Mich will be hosting CCHA playoff hockey on March 11 & 12. So excited!

I will neither give up, nor surrender
Edit: The man v. food sounds much more entertaining...will someone try?

I don't think I am coming neither. I have been unsuccessful in trying to get more aid.Excellence = a Habit wrote:src42 wrote:I just un-registered for ASW1. Hahahaha enjoy ASW #1sarahh wrote:I am wondering if I should buy a winter coat this weekend. I see it is about 30 degrees in Ann Arbor now. Will I freeze to death with just a light jacket and long-sleeved shirt?
I don't know...I really want to, but I have to balance my desire to save $ with my desire to visit. As of now, UM is my #1 choice anyway, so a visit would probably only serve to confirm that.Excellence = a Habit wrote:src42 wrote:I just un-registered for ASW1. Um, yeah. Do you really not have any warm jackets? If not, layer it up.sarahh wrote:I am wondering if I should buy a winter coat this weekend. I see it is about 30 degrees in Ann Arbor now. Will I freeze to death with just a light jacket and long-sleeved shirt?
I have something that is slightly heavier than a windbreaker. I live in California - I have not had a need for a winter coat.sgtgrumbles wrote:Um, yeah. Do you really not have any warm jackets? You will be COLD. If you're actually a female and you don't think it's creepy, I can maybe loan you an extra coat for ASW if we're around the same size (PM if you want). But seriously, even low 40s with a peacoat and long sleeved layers can be cold with wind or at night. A light jacket is not really going to be enough.sarahh wrote:I am wondering if I should buy a winter coat this weekend. I see it is about 30 degrees in Ann Arbor now. There's no travel stipend (except for maybe Darrow invitees), but they try to make it up to you with the $20/night hotel stay.BlakcMajikc wrote:So. just got In today via Snail Mail.
I have been sorting through the papers and the Admitted Students site, and it looks like no travel stipend for the ASW? Am I correct on that?
I was planning on going to UVA that same weekend (April 1), and it looks like that plan will still hold up. Unfortunately, I have no funds to travel to Ann Arbor.
Dang... that's depressing. With the scholly dollars that I hope to have coming, I don't think I will need to have saved money for attending law school, but applying to and visiting the law schools on my list is pricey and unaffordable right now.Helmholtz wrote:There's no travel stipend (except for maybe Darrow invitees), but they try to make it up to you with the $20/night hotel stay.BlakcMajikc wrote:So. just got In today via Snail Mail.

Ha. My best friend who matriculated there last year was a former OSU student too. Btw, PM one of us if you'd like help being added to the Facebook c/o 2014 group.sanguar wrote:Scholarship offer showed up in my Mail and Money this morning! 45k... that pretty much seals the deal for me now (have to wait to see some - nearly guaranteed, but have to be certain - things from my wife's job before we can conclusively commit). Perhaps if you contact them directly with your individual situation? It could be they would make an exception if they thought it would influence your decision to attend.BlakcMajikc wrote:Dang... that's depressing.
