I'm no longer able to attend ASW #1 I accidentally scheduled a work event for the 11th. I am so sad! Sorry ducl, pulandasu and azn, but I know you will find someone else awesome to share your cab with. ASW #2 for me.

i apologize in advance b/c this is a douchy post, but does michigan yield protect?

i've been UR/complete for almost 8 weeks, a time span in which i've been admitted to Stanford, Columbia and Berkeley and had my JR1 with Harvard (still waiting to hear from Yale). i have a 4.0 and a 172 at HYP, but have ties to michigan and would seriously go if i got near/full ride.

my gpa/ug isn't as good as yours but w a 3.9+ and an avged 173 i was hoping $ from mich. i'm not super prestige focused and any substantial chunk of change would change my mind. but substantial money coming off of the waitlist??

sad face michigan. i actually really liked you for your amicable admissions office people and seemingly down to earth demeanor.

If you are serious about going, I hope you write a good LOCI or something, because I would guess they would give you a good package if they took you off the waitlist. Obvi in most cases those coming from the WL don't get aid, but that's because most coming from the WL were borderline, while y'all are obviously YP.

I mean, it was in the registration for ASW where you had to pay for it. I don't think they've given us more info than that.

ASW #2 here as well.. (although I still havent bought my ticket). Need to call and confirm tomorrow that arriving late thursday night wont be a problem for registration/check-in but after that I should be buying a plane ticket tomorrow. Anyone had the experience of setting up cab reservations yet?
