Take it. Issues on the exam are teed up shockingly easy. Have canned answers going into test, walk out of test hour early with good grade.Burgstaller04 wrote:Has anyone had Martinez for "Federal Courts?"

Law Practice Management is OK. Project-based final. Shank is cool.
I heard PE&HF has metric tonne of reading.

I withdraw my "cool" nomination. He's a ridiculously hard grader. Like, absurdly hard.

Having just received my employment law grade from him about twenty minutes ago, I'm going to call false on this one...kalvano wrote:swilson215 wrote:Seconded. The man barefoot waterskis.kalvano wrote: Shank is cool.

I just got mine, and I know what kind of paper I wrote and what my friends wrote, and he's a ridiculously hard grader.

I agree with kalvano on this. I was surprised that my grade on Shank's Employment Law final wasn't higher. I wonder if he curved the class.

The grade deadline has come and gone, and I'm still missing one grade from the professor who bragged she didn't go to sleep till our finals were graded.

There is a mandatory curve in all exam graded classes. That's what I've been told.

I had an exam graded class last semester w/no curve. Then again, there were only 6 people in it.
Anyone know when percentiles will be released?

There are at least two profs who still haven't returned grades, so I wouldn't hold your breath (if they have to wait for them, which I assume they do).annelise88 wrote:squ1rtle wrote:There is a mandatory curve in all exam graded classes. That's what I've been told.

Re: SMU 2014
FYI and FWIW, I talked to the registrar's office today about the class ranking percentiles. She said they're waiting for a professor's grades still (cough, Lowe's O&G Contracts, cough), but that they anticipate that they'll have those grades early next week and will release the percentiles no later than the following week.

Right, because it really takes a long time to figure up the percentiles.
Also, why isn't Lowe being fined or publicly shamed for not having grades in?

Oh, good.
I'm actually waiting on Lowe to turn in my externship P/F grade.

Re: SMU 2014
I think they were being safe. And as to Lowe's tardiness to the party, I believe he was pretty sick over the break, so they're probably cutting him some slack. Plus he's the associate dean and I'm fairly certain he'll be at the top of the list for the interim dean job for the next year or two. Here's a big bunch of outlines. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the SMU Google Docs thing, but I don't know if that still works or not. So here.
