got the e-mail today around 2:30, found out i'm in around 3:30 and went to pick up my acceptance letter (I live in C'ville) and had a great conversation with everyone - very friendly and great to talk to!! Good luck everyone and congrats to all!!! hang in there if you're still waiting - it's coming!

Have we heard more RD or are you referring to one person in the other thread? Just curious

ED - went complete monday, status changed to "pending decision...." today around noon, got the call a few hours later.

I knowww but still, I submitted the first week of Sept. It'd be fine enough if I had something to pin the wait on. Last year, for example, residents seemed to find out earliest- but I'm a resident, so no dice!

3.1 (UVA undergrad) 171 (retake oct.2010) but i've been out of school since 03 and have some pretty crazy work experience (been a special ed teacher since then) in Charlottesville. There's hope for you splitters out there!!!!

Yikes. Would have wanted to make sure I got a half-ride or so out of them with numbers like that before committing.

Hello! I was accepted last Friday via ED. I submitted on Thursday afternoon and received a call the next day! I'm an in-state splitter w/ work experience.

Now that it's November, only 10 more months to go! (and the countdown begins...just enough time to perfect my softball skills...)

A friend of mine heard back the same day his ED form was received and I've heard of others getting the call the next day. However, LSN shows some accepted people taking longer than that to get the call

It has said "pending review/decision" since I went complete on monday

if they cared enough to call you and ask about you, that's a good sign. your ambiguity could've tossed you straight to the WL/reject file, but something else made them call you to clear it up. well, that's how i interpret it anyway.
