I feel like this is a test. And at the beginning they will tell us that only those who truly belong at Chicago would be gunnerish enough to sign up for such an event while everyone who did not has been dismissed and sent home.Xifeng wrote:I like that it gives you priority for future events, so I'll probably do it.Haymarket wrote:The events seem a little strange, but I guess I probably won't have anything better to do that day before the dinner. There's probably not a whole lot to lose by going besides a few hours of my time.

What is the dress code for orientation?
There isn’t one. Most people wear some variation on casual or business casual for Monday and Tuesday, a suit for the Entering Students’ Dinner Tuesday night,

In the paragraph below that it says Thursday. You should probably call, email, and personally go to ask them for a clarification.Bildungsroman wrote:The September letter lied to meXifeng wrote:FTFYBildungsroman wrote:I think that's only for the thursday professionalism stuff, with business for theDany wrote: And business casual for orientation?tuesdayThursday entering students dinner. If your Myers-Briggs type is feeling instead of thinking, you will be retroactively rejected from Chi for not being rigorous enough.

By this i assume they mean "don't look like a homeless person". I'm going with jeans if it's cold or shorts and flip flops if it's warm (have to a take advantage of the few nice chicago days we all have left), but with a nice shirt.
Also, is their a general information contact email for chicago law? on the "helpful contacts" list all the emails are for specific purposes.

Whichever school it is, they have to accept a PS all about how hypothetical orientation boat rides should have more boat tickets and they have to be willing to pay scholarships out in the form of kegs of Guinness.duckmoney wrote:UVA?WhatSarahSaid wrote:Only two drinks on the boat ride?!? As long as "six shots of whiskey" qualifies as a "drink," things will work out.Haymarket wrote:The solution seems obvious.Bildungsroman wrote:WHAT?!?!WhatSarahSaid wrote:Only two drinks on the boat ride?!?

If any Chicago law employees are reading this, we're talking about pre-cruise bible study.

I'm curious how they are going to use the Myers Briggs test.

I really hope they publish some sort of myers briggs distribution graph. I think that'd be interesting, also cross law school myers briggs results would be interesting too. But that might be too much to ask for.Lisi wrote:I'm curious how they are going to use the Myers Briggs test.

I just took the test at one place and got ISTJ and then at another place and got ENFJ. Either I am mostly indescribably complex or my entire personality can be distilled into a single letter.
