This is why you send in your deposit before CLS accepts you. That way, you aren't required to withdraw . Then again, I probably won't get accepted at CLS, so it probably doesn't matter!
They accepted me last week, so I'm just hoping they have it in the mail already.

I was accepted via email on March 28th my big NYC book arrived in the mail yesterday. Yours should come shortly.

Hey all! Also going to be joining the deposit party soon. I was at CLS and NYU this last weekend as well and absolutely fell in love with NYU! So amazing!

Just wanted to pop in and say congrats to all you guys (I'm super super jelly...and PRAYING for a miracle over here, lol). Monkey - sad you won't be at Penn but I'm so happy for you - it sounds like this is the perfect fit!

A great deal rides on the Friday "no dice" phone call for me. I fell in love with NYU this past weekend and I'm heartbroken about the Root, but I'd still go if I get some sort of consolation prize.

I have a sinking feeling that such a prize isn't forthcoming.

didn't your scholly offer expire? reapply for financial aid and send them columbia's package!! or perhaps just call up the financial aid office and tell them and ask what to do.

did you get your cls package by mail or email? im crawling out of my skin waiting

Check out their LRAP just in case you do decide to go PI. Paying more now for NYU might actually mean paying less in the long run with their stellar LRAP. Just sayin'

Also, if you do ultimately think you want NYU (and I know you're on the fence about this), I would let them know about CLS' offer. They will obviously see it as a peer school and that might make them bump it a little more.

I was going to create one just for the TLS people so we can get a better handle of TLS names/IRL names but if it's overkill I won't do it. I'd suggest making a note in the OG group which lists TLS names and real names or something to make it easier to identify everyone.

Yeah I like the idea of a separate group just because not everyone sees TLS as normal.
