I have a few questions about the financial aid forms and how to fill them out for a summer starter like myself. The need access form asks the amount of money I plan to make during the summer. If I go to Michigan, obviously then I wont be working. However every other school I will work. Can I fill out a separate form for Michigan? Also what are the deadlines for these forms? Also do summer starters have to fill out the 2010-2011 FAFSA as well? Thanks for the time yall.

Does anyone know why I still haven't received an email containing login and password from Michigan? They seem to totally forget about me :/

I submitted 1.15. No email after that.....

Just got an email encouraging me to come to the 1st preview weekend and to stay Saturday evening for "a special annual scholarship banquet hosted by our Latino Law Students Association." A linked letter calls it the "annual Juan L. Tienda Scholarship Banquet."

Anybody going or been to one in the past, or know more about what this is?

Is it too late to hope for a Darrow invite? Just got in yesterday via ASW. Hoping my late application (just before Christmas) didn't doom my chances. They wouldn't shut down Darrows that quickly, would they?

When it says 15k under my awards for the year 2012 does that mean I just got 15k or is that the 45k scholarship that everybody else with similar numbers to me is getting?

45k. It's 15k/year.

kind of a shameless plug... but if any summer starters are looking for housing, feel free to send me a message. my roommate and i are 1Ls, and we have our place through the end of august. we are looking for subletter(s) for the summer. price very negotiable. we live in burns park, a cute neighborhood south of the law school. our walk to school is about 15 minutes, or it's 5 minutes on the bus. i'm also happy to answer questions that people have about housing.
