The surest way to get me to lose all interest in applying for something is to require an autobiographical portion.Xifeng wrote:I wonder how many Patiño emails they've sent out. 10+?

I went with Student Space before ASW - they were alright, but only have deals with like 4 buildings in Hyde Park - Regents, Mayfair, Flamingo, and Dorchester. And maybe Scholars Corner.duckmoney wrote:I'm going on Monday with Student Space. I'll let you guys know any impressions.trudat15 wrote:has anyone gone apt hunting yet?

Thought Mayfair and Regents were nice, but the others were eh.

The MAC people at Algonquin will also show you other apartment buildings they own in Hyde Park. You can tell them what's most important to you (e.g. size, nicer finishings, location) and they'll show you buildings that they think fit your preferences. That said, the ones they showed me were kind of terrible.

Re: Chicago Class of 2014
For those of you who have seen it, how big are the pics in the glass menagerie? I'm traveling all summer and only have access to one super unflattering, but acceptable picture.
As for new pics, I don't think firms at OCI are going to appreciate a picture of sweaty me hiking...although I do look pretty sexy with a fanny pack and knee socks

For your help, I offer this:

They're very small. It's almost exactly like a high school yearbook. You could probably find one on facebook that would work!

Not sure but it will be in the June letter they send out, I think.bruinrandy wrote:i thought i remember seeing somewhere the email that we are supposed to send our glass menagerie pictures too. but now i can't seem to find it...any help?
Edit:
Photos for the Glass Menagerie
Please provide a print or a high-quality digital photo, preferably a jpeg. You’ll know the photo quality is good enough if the file size is at least 200 KB. Photos straight from the digital camera work best; photos copied from websites like Facebook or those taken with cell phones generally have low quality and won’t work. When selecting a photo, try to find one that doesn’t show another person’s arm around your shoulders or anything else that may be visible when the photo is cropped to a tight headshot. Also, please keep in mind that this book will be used heavily by your professors and potential employers. Please send your digital image to glassmenagerie@law.uchicago.edu.
