Munich: I would genuinely love to hear about your sandwich. I'm choosing to interpret you calling me "nice" as a compliment.

Xifeng: I will wear the Pokemon dress if you will. I was thinking about finishing up my Pokemon Trading Card dress art project for the photo, but I don't think it would show up very well, since it's black and white. If it was a full body shot, I might wear this:

Otherwise, I might just stead the Bidoof Pokemon hat I got a friend for Christmas. I think it looks sufficiently nerdy. I alternate between nerdy and vintage. Maybe I'll go vintage nerd? Pocket protector? Truly, this is my most pressing concern.

Okay I'm going to quote this for the record from last year's June Letter to the class of 2013:

Each year the Law School puts together a student/faculty face book (a.k.a., The Glass Menagerie). The Menagerie includes a picture of each student in the Law School, information about home towns, schools attended, and degrees received. This information is obtained from your Student Profile form. The Menagerie is given to all students at orientation and is provided to faculty, to employers interviewing at the Law School, to prospective students, and to alumni. Please send a recent digital high-resolution photo of yourself. The photo should only feature you in the image. As you know, we have already been collecting these photos. If you haven't already sent in your photo please be sure that we receive it no later than Friday, July 2, 2010. Please send your digital image to glassmenagerie@law.uchicago.edu.

DAMMIT. I was really looking forward to some actual self expression. I may have been considering trying to work one of the pets in. Or making a laser background portrait.

I guess this is the beginning of LS sucking out our creativity. Maybe in 10 years I can be creative again...

TBF, deferring is a REALLY low possibility. I only mention it because today I went from rolling a d100 to defer to rolling a d10 to defer. Depends on conversations w/current employers and KV.
