I heard at Skadden they say its 1600 but you'll never make partner if you don't crush at least 1850. Apparently the general rule of thumb is one bunny per billable hour.

I heard that all you need to do is spin around three times, repeat the words "I have no soul" and Lucifer himself will appear with a Biglaw contract and your signing bonus, money which was recently stolen out of the poor boxes at local churches.

I heard you can only get BigLaw without a JD if you're an absolutely horrid actor who likes to ride fast buses and time-travel while saying "dude". In this case the devil himself will appear and recruit you in the form of Al Pacino. Likely side-effects: your SO will have nightmares about yet unborn babies playing with their innards.

Kung Fu is actually how he completed his Crushable Bunnies quota so quickly. That and he was able to trick small children into bringing him their personal pets by showing them Hardball...poor G-BabyStonewall wrote:don't forget the ever classic, ridiculously horrid line: "I know kung fu" as well.AfroThunder1212 wrote:I heard you can only get BigLaw without a JD if you're an absolutely horrid actor who likes to ride fast buses and time-travel while saying "dude". Why would you derail the thread with such an irrelevant question?orioles88 wrote:How much is the deposit at WF?

Neither of the above, but I'm definitely sitting here wasting away the last day before spring break on TLS while my students play Risk and Monopoly. It's very much like Senioritis.YankeesFan wrote:Don't worry AfroThunder I will get the thread back on track:

Yankeesfan, I'm very excited you're not leaving me!!! Yankee Solidarity! <3jdemmitt wrote:Woah, for some reason my email didnt send me my notice that there were any updates to this thread today. Odd. I am sure you all missed me.
Guess Smith/Shaver did not come out today. I really just hope a TLSer gets it, so I know the winner deserves it.
Yankeesfan, would you really leave Jeterfangirl(or whatever the name is) as the only yankee fan here?
Edit: gof, how goes the roommate search? I saw that you posted on the FB page. Any luck?
Also, was it Gamecock's pic or mine that swayed you? How can you resist a bearded man? Rawr.
I have suuuch bad senioritis. I thought it would be a good idea to sign up for a poli sci senior honors thesis and it is KILLING me (aka the guilt of not writing is weighing heavy!)YankeesFan wrote:Don't worry AfroThunder I will get the thread back on track:

Lucky you guys and your senioritis. I just have, time killing. Such is the life of a SAHD. BTW, who knew Blues Clues was so awesome? I am using that show to get my mind ready for the big thinking of law school. Do professors put blue paw prints on texts?

+1 for funny.
BTW, who hasn't joined the FB group yet? I have FR from some of you, but not everyone.
Also, who has read Planet Law School? I know Steelydan has. Anyone else? I am only 1/3 of the way through. And I am not sure I am loving it.
