I'll be staying Saturday night and I'll hang out with you! We could do a TLSer meet-up Saturday night, but maybe we ought to also do one earlier so nobody gets shut out. FWIW, I may be staying with a friend who grew up in AA and having him show me around, so that's one of the reasons I'm staying the extra night.

Thanks guys! I'm definitely thinking about switching it now. It's just so hard to eat the change fee!

You guys and R6 are actually convincing me to come visit for the first ASW. I wasn't really planning on attending either one...

Seriously. Forget Michigan ASW, this is beginning to sound like TLS IRLW.

Tours run until 2:30 PM, IIRC. The actual proceeding begin at 3 or 3:30. My flight gets in at 1:10 PM, so I'm planning on catching a later tour.

Hmmm...it looks like I'm going to have to take a red-eye and be there Thurs morning. I better actually look at the ASW site.

Edit: Is anyone else renting a car at DTW or is that silly? I have no clue about the buses, beyond friends who have told me that "they suck"

This is exciting. You guys are talking about the first ASW right? March 10-12 or something like that? I will see you there, and can pick out a couple of cool AA bars for Saturday (though I am sure the current Mlaw students will be more than happy to!)

Did you and your husband stay in the Michigan-provided housing during ASW? If so, did you have to make a formal request to Michigan to arrange this? My girlfriend has to miss the ASW for the program there to which she applied, so she may just come to AA with me for my ASW. I just need to know if she can stay with me or if we'll need to arrange something else.

Thanks!
I think I read somewhere the Michigan-provided housing is for students only. Can anyone confirm?

I have the things from the Preview Week site open and it reads: "Because space is limited, we are unable to provide rooms for guests other than admitted students. If you wish to travel with a guest, please consult our list of alternative hotel options in order to make your own arrangements. All meals during the weekend will be provided by the Law School."

We could meet up instead of Movie Night?

Do we go to the Phid House party?

I'll be at the March ASW as well. Waiting on stipend details before I get my ticket.
