I remember that lunch, and trust me when I say we get way better lunches during talks just about every Monday-Thursday. Thai food, soul food, pizza, Potbelly sandwiches, falafel... I mean, nothing is amazing after it's been carted from a restaurant in a giant tray, but the food is often quite acceptable.oxford_don wrote:+1. Everything else has been nice though

Heading home from a ASW! It was great to put faces to names, though I'm definitely socially exhausted.
I think it's clear I really loved Chicago and didn't want to leave, as evinced by my cell phone and luggage's attemps to stay in the city.

Hey, I haven't looked at the U of C timeline in a while. I was just curious when is the latest we can head up there? I know there is orientation and stuff like that, is it mandatory?

I loved every moment of the ASW. EVERY MOMENT. I wish I knew who some of you guys were, though. If any of you all wanna know who I was PM me and I'll give you some incriminating evidence...

US v Arizona was brutal. I was struggling to keep my eyes open, I think Professor Posner was too.

Well, here's the thing. I liked it because it made me realize how much you can do with a case. Each professor had their own take, each their own way of strategizing. I enjoyed it because it made me think of the possibilities...rbarcelo9 wrote:US v Arizona was brutal. I was struggling to keep my eyes open, I think Professor Posner was too.

I had a great time at ASW! and hanging out in Chicago. Meeting everyone was great too, I don't think I've ever shook so many hands... Wish I could have made it to bowling, sounds like it was fun!
PS I thought the US v Arizona thing was interesting because I was here through the SB1070 thing. Also much love to the gunner!

Thought the material was interesting, but the presentation was dreadful. Instead of simply taking turns speaking, it would have been much more lively and interesting, at least to me, if it were more of a discussion or debate.Saul Goodman wrote:Well, here's the thing.
