Is there a parking pass I can buy for a reasonable price? I would be really interested in that. If i'm already going to bring my car, I don't see why I should be stressing trying to get a place in Collegetown. I don't feel like being around alot of undergrads.
Parking situation on campus = abysmal. The closest lot that you will likely get will be behind the football stadium, which means you're in for at least 3/4 mile walk to the law school every day. Not fun in the Ithaca rain/snow/slush.
As a 1L living in Collegetown, I don't know too many people that drive to class every day. Instead, most people that I know who live that far out end up taking the TCAT busline. There are plenty of apartment complexes or houses that are 2 miles from campus that are close to bus lines and will have free parking.
Your other option is to buy a parking spot in a garage in Collegetown, but those permits run for about $185 a month.
Hope this Helps.
