When I click on "mail & money" it goes to a new login screen (not the same URL/domain as the admitted student site). Got the packet Monday, so maybe I need have them fix it for me. Maybe a problem with being admitted last year and withdrew. Thanks.TheStrand wrote:r6_philly wrote:How long did it take everyone's "mail & money" to start working?
What do you mean by "working"? I was able to see Communications by the time they shipped the packet (a day after I got into admitted students website). The financial aid section seems to be permanently not working for me--though others have it working and listing awards.

For Summer Starters
There are 3-4 Michigan threads running around in different spots, so I am sorry if you have read this post a few times now.
I got the email today giving us some information on what classes we will be enjoying this summer.
This year, the two doctrinal courses offered to summer-starters are:
Civil Procedure, taught by Professor Ed Cooper <http://web.law.umich.edu/_FacultyBioPag ... .asp?ID=45> , and
Torts, taught by Professor Sherman Clark <http://web.law.umich.edu/_FacultyBioPag ... asp?ID=177> .
and
Legal Practice with
Philip M. Frost <http://cgi2.www.law.umich.edu/_FacultyB ... asp?ID=141> , the Director of the Legal Practice Program;
Rachel Croskery-Roberts <http://cgi2.www.law.umich.edu/_FacultyB ... asp?ID=147> , the Assistant Director; and
Mark Osbeck <http://web.law.umich.edu/_FacultyBioPag ... asp?ID=124> , who joined the Michigan Law faculty in 2001.
No times or other information, but at least you know what to look for now.

I was accepted in early January. My "Mail & Money" section worked as soon as I was able to log in to the admitted students site. However, I've been having the same problem starting the last day or two, so I'm very curious about this too.r6_philly wrote:When I click on "mail & money" it goes to a new login screen (not the same URL/domain as the admitted student site). Got a reply from them, try different browsers. Firefox will not work, but I managed to open it in Safari at work. Will try IE at home.Frasier27 wrote: I was accepted in early January. I just tried it in Safari and it still works. It opens a second tab and right to the mailings screen, no additional log in. Try closing all your browser windows, turning the "private browsing" on, re-login, and see if it works.Frasier27 wrote:Was using chrome (which had worked before) and now just tried IE which also didn't work, so I don't knowr6_philly wrote:Got a reply from them, try different browsers. (also posted this in the admissions thread but....)
I just registered for the first ASW (March 10th-ish?)! I'm pumped to see some fellow TLSers there! (I'd be happy to set up a meeting place if people are interested!)

Really looks like ASW #2 is going to be sparsely populated....more face-to-face time with Dean Z I guess.dulcatis wrote:Awesomeness! The Stig wrote:(also posted this in the admissions thread but....)

lulz. That would confuse the hell out of the "regular" admits. "Hmm, okay, 'James,' 'Rebecca'....'sgtgrumbles?!' "r6_philly wrote:I am just going to put my username on my name tag...

I saw this, too, but the next paragraph begins "In addition to Torts and Contracts..." Could it be, a Dean Z fail? just kidding, Dean Z!Wanpsack1 wrote: This year, the two doctrinal courses offered to summer-starters are:

Re: Michigan Class of 2014
If there is a mailing in the "mail and money" section of the Admitted Students Website entitled: "Dean's Scholarship Award Letter," does that mean you got a scholarship?
Just making sure I'm not getting my hopes up and it will be a letter saying, "No scholarship for you at this time."

Nothing is showing up under mailings for me but when I clicked on Financial Aid Award Info it came up with 18K!
To be honest, unless Cornell offer me full ride (or close to it) this is pretty much cycle over for me; I think
