Likely loss of 2am tranquil bike rides is one of the only reasons I'm sad about leaving the Midwest.
Also, 2L sighting.

Haha, that's awesome. There seriously are so many things - usually double-parked cars - obstructing the bike lanes. I joke with people that the bike lanes are really just parking lanes. It really sucks, especially since it forces you to swerve back into traffic on a street on which drivers expect bicyclists to only use the bike lane.birdlaw117 wrote:This is for everyone planning on having a bike up there (grumbles...):

Whoa, I think NYU finally cleared my MPNs. On the Finances Student Center my "To Do" section says "No To Do's." Has anyone else had this change? I also received an email this morning from studentloans.gov explaining that my loan request has been approved. I guess I'm done then.

Re: NYU Class of 2014
you have to make your payment in bursar's office... but the loan hasn't shown up yet (at least in the way they said it would in the instructions... maybe it just takes a bit of time..).
regarding Bursar E-bill, it states on the instruction sheet:
"Credits for anticipated Federal Direct Loans will also be included provided you have.... "(accepted direct loans, signed MPNs...) so, it looks like we just wait. I still don't have my loans showing up on my bursar e-bill...

MPN's cleared finally.
Looks like my laptop shipped today as well, can't wait to fire it up! I went with the Thinkpad T420.

Yay! Loans have been credited.
Also, it seems like not everyone was updated at the same time. So yours will probably update soon.

Yay! I have monies in my bursar account! Which is good since after this week, a broker's fee, and a security deposit, I have like no money in my actual account.
Still have to do the immunization form though. I don't have a regular doctor. Did you guys just make an appointment with a random doctor to get that paperwork signed?

I have an immunization card certified from my pediatrician that was required by the other doctor who actually signed my form. You may have the same somewhere.lzyovrachievr wrote:Yay! Yea, I have an immunization card that's been stamped and all, but it's not really certified. I'm thinking that the doctor that's going to sign the form won't be too happy with it.whathojeeves wrote:I have an immunization card certified from my pediatrician that was required by the other doctor who actually signed my form. so technically - i think (though double check) you won't actually get any money put into your actual bank account until early september... just fyi.lzyovrachievr wrote:Yay!
