yeah, sorry, thats what i meant. i just thought "entrance counseling" didn't actually describe what it actually was... (more like a loan exam - but with a blatant answer pattern that made it possible to pass without reading anything...) lol.whathojeeves wrote:Is the questionnaire the same thing as entrance counseling? I feel it may be.neyaae wrote:what is the loans questionnaire? I did the entrance counseling and MPN's and have accepted my loans on Albert...now I guess I need to figure out esuite...

Just wait until the rest of us get there -- I think collective liver failure may be in the cards for us this year.ahduth wrote:Yeah, yesterday. Took like three minutes.cruelestgame wrote:anyone get their id card yet?

do you guys think ED acceptance applicants are given less chances of being given the RTK and other scholarships or is that process completely separate?

I can't imagine they'd give a full ride to someone who ED'd. Keep in mind that the point of those scholarships is to lure in HYS-caliber candidates with free money.$1.99 wrote:do you guys think ED acceptance applicants are given less chances of being given the RTK and other scholarships or is that process completely separate?

There are approximately 10,000 bars between my apartment in Alphabet City and the law school. The research is exhausting both physically and mentally, but I'm doing my best to get the lay of the land here.RJ127 wrote:So who is planning the first (of many) meetups? Good man. I can offer advice from my years of liver-destroying activities in the neighborhood if you need some help.ahduth wrote:There are approximately 10,000 bars between my apartment in Alphabet City and the law school. Well I'm pretty much ready to start tomorrow if you want. Sounds like other TLS are also already in the city?
Edit: not sure how I butchered the quote but... not caring.

That's because it's not only about the numbers for that scholarship, but their numbers don't keep them from being HYS-caliber applicants. Your numbers matter to get into the school, other stuff matters for this scholly.$1.99 wrote:yeah i know, but i saw some ppl on LSN that got these scholarships with sub median numbersahduth wrote:I can't imagine they'd give a full ride to someone who ED'd. Re: NYU Class of 2014
Those schollies are definitely more holistic than the admissions process. Usually the people that receive them have to make the decision of whether to take the full ride or attend one of HYS. I definitely know of a couple RTKers with sub-median numbers. I know one non-URM sub 170 RTKer (didn't end up accepting it though).lzyovrachievr wrote:That's because it's not only about the numbers for that scholarship, but their numbers don't keep them from being HYS-caliber applicants. Basically, I'm under the impression that the scholarships are awarded mostly on non-numbers factors. But, because of their non-numbers factors, those individuals are usually HYS-type applicants.

Just for private.ilovemulch wrote:+1, both my MPNsthecilent wrote:Indeedcruelestgame wrote:anyone get an email saying that things are requested and not complete despite them being so?I'm gonna call later in the week maybe to check up on it. Did you guys see the convo in FB group about printing out the bursar bill and writing "loans pending" and having to send it back by today? We don't have to do that for federal loans right? Sorry if this was already discussed ...I'm super lazy..
