That page should be immortalized as concrete proof of the advantages of applying early.

I noticed one of the people (I think with the highest numbers) also had felony convictions and was rejected from most of the schools s/he applied to. Sad Julia didn't get in though.Knock wrote:Yeah I saw, holy shitMuenchen wrote:Massacre in the Accepted forum Chicago thread =/. People with such good numbers getting straight up dinged, wow.
I was hoping for some newbies

I doubt there was one.Ghost wrote:I haven't seen a single acceptance.
I suspect the admissions dept. is going kind of heavy on the WLs this year to prevent overenrolling. Hopefully that means there will also be some movement off the WL.

Munich, I could watch that gif all day.
Remember Dulc, my Pokemon bring all the Dulcs to the Hyde Park.
Unrelated, but I lolled:
"Ronald Dworkin describes an approach to how courts should decide cases that he associates with Judge Richard Posner as a "Chicago School of anti-theoretical, no-nonsense jurisprudence." Since Professor Dworkin takes his own view of adjudication to be diametrically opposed to that of the Chicago School, it might seem fair, then, to describe Dworkin's own theory as an instance of pro-theoretical, nonsense jurisprudence. That characterization is not one, needless to say, that Professor Dworkin welcomes."
Buurrrrrrrn.

Re: Chicago Class of 2014
I read back a few pages and didn't see anything about this, sorry 'cause I'm sure it's been answered before.
I think a few weeks ago someone asked Chi about negotiation and they said they money just isn't there. Has that been the case since? I doubt they could/would offer me more, so I'm not sure if it's worth trying.
Thanks!

Karla Vargas said in one of the chats that she will look at any scholarship negotiations. I emailed because what can it hurt? and she said she'd get back to me by the end of the month.arism87 wrote:I read back a few pages and didn't see anything about this, sorry 'cause I'm sure it's been answered before.

Well, if it is still going on when we are both in Chicago we must watch at my apt. Not sure where I'm living yet but I know I'll be bringing my 50in plasma, 5.1 wood speakers, and tripath amplifiers with me (I may have just indirectly outed my identity...)Knock wrote: When does season 4 come out? Does anyone know when we're going to get our full financial aid package? do we need to fill out that form now (University of Chicago Graduate Loan and Work Study Application, it's updated now)... or is that not until after we've gotten our package?

HALP.
Anybody who went to one of the first two day in the life days... jeans or black dress pants? I think I've asked before and I can't remember the answer.
