I'm not sure what you're asking. Regents law school package has a 2BR option as well. There's also an application to call dibs on a room.

It cost $50. Call leasing office tomorrow and they'll email it to you. I think app online is broken.

Just go to the Regents Park website (--LinkRemoved--)... you can't apply online, so I think you'll have to download the pdf and fax the application in. That's what I did, anyway.

I put "UChicago Law School" for "Reason for Moving" and someone at RP got back to me within 24 hours with the law school package pricing and requests for other forms.

If you live in Regents, you have to take a bus to campus, right? It seems too far to walk. Are there options that are within walking distance that are not campus housing?

Does anyone know how much is covered on Saturday's 1:30 PM "Hyde Park Housing Tour?" Would anyone be down to check out what they don't cover? I can't help but feel as if I'm not going to get to go back to Chicago until the summer at the earliest.

The 172 bus is free and runs between school and Regents every 10-15 minutes or so until 6pm. A few people live in apartments right behind the law school, but the bus really is no hassle. It actually is completely walkable too, it takes about 25 minutes. I've walked home from school a few times this winter when I needed some fresh air and time to clear my head.

I'd imagine it is basically going to be Regents, Algonquin, and hopefully some of the university-owned apartments. If anyone wants a tour of my building (a couple blocks south of Regents) you'd be most welcome to come check it out. My SO works nights and is working over ASW so we aren't hosting anyone, but you'd be welcome to come by for a beer.

I'm pumped for ASW! Weather's been looking icky in Chicago, from my Southern point of view...

Is anyone going to Health Law or (for those of you that were deciding between the two) are you all going with Securities?

Leaning toward securities given my interests and the professor reviews, but I'm certainly amenable to the peer pressures of the day choosing the class based on what other people I'm comfortable with are choosing.

Weather right now is low 40's, and that's warm for this week. A few degrees above freezing appears to be the norm.

I'm outting somewhat, but just my reaction to some of his stuff. Though I'm not familiar at all with his more academic stuff and am sure it's very good, his other stuff kind of rubs me the wrong way. The same way as an economics person I feel about Paul Krugman basically: his purely academic work is great, but he's still kind of frustrating.

Of course I am. If Cat poops in the corner of the room of the class I sit in on, I'll know this isn't the school for me. I'm not sure how people w/out pets make these sort of decisions.

Dog2 (greyhound) is gunning for not-Chicago, since it will mean he will need to wear his coat, tummy warmer, and snow booties longer than normal. I don't plan on listening to him though.
