Anybody else get an email from a professor?

Also, if this horrible cold kills me before ASW... I want you all to know how much you all meant to me.... not very much.

I recently sent a negotiation letter to Chicago in light of receiving the Wigmore at Northwestern... I really want to go to Chicago and want it to be financially feasible... Here's to hoping my $$$ Dean's scholly from UVA and my $$$$ from NU mean something to them =/

Those of you who are living in Regents next year: how are you getting your renters insurance? Are you just going with the company under your car insurance?

Afraid so! I got an e-mail from the guy who handled my application, saying that I need to get the insurance sometime after I pick my apartment and before I move in.

Yeah, I have nothing worth stealing to justify renter's insurance, except maybe my laptop which I will just get a lock for and a safe lockbox for anything else. I usually keep copies of important things online, so even losing my computer files wouldn't be devastating.

ETA: That's kind of annoying. I hope the place I want doesn't require that...

Even if it does require it, it's usually only $10/month, less if you pay it all up front. I just went w/my car insurance company and it worked out fine.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Regents law school package has a 2BR option as well. There's also an application to call dibs on a room.

I just think Regents is too expensive for what you get. I'd be interested in other options throughout Hyde Park- maybe some awesome multi-person bro-living.

I'm assuming that you are asking what do to do because you don't know who your roommate will be yet, so how could you turn in an app.... you apply on your own and just put that you want a 2br... they put your room in order of who applied first.
