Alpha, you know I will! We can practice it on the opposing team at the Sox game. Rigorous Victory.

she has a scratching-on-walls problem, so as an alternative to getting her declawed we got her soft paws, which you can get in a beautiful array of colors.

Awwww! I'd always wanted to try those, when kitty had a scratching problem, but we just bought her a $200 cat tree, and she seems to have been appeased.
How hard are they to put on/get used to?

I have never seen that before. It looks like your cat has sprinkles instead of claws. o.OJFo wrote:Awwww! I'd always wanted to try those, when kitty had a scratching problem, but we just bought her a $200 cat tree, and she seems to have been appeased.

They aren't too hard to put on if you catch your cat mid-nap. Then she fights them for about 5 minutes and then she forgets about them. They last like 2 months and fall off throughout that time. They're relatively cheap, too. We bought scratch boards too, but she loves walls best.JFo wrote:Awwww! I'm probably outing myself as not as cool on the internet here by not getting the reference.
ETA: Thanks Sarah! I might get them for my cat, who has a mattress scratching problem when I don't feed her highness at 6AM.

I'm stealing this for my FB. I hope you don't mind.
Whenever I see cat videos like, this comic comes to mind. It's pretty much my thought process when seeing/petting adorable kitties:

Is "180" supposed to be a compliment, like "A+"? If so, in this thread, it should be replaced by ... 186 (duh!).Muenchen wrote:180ExpectLess wrote:Someone just showed me this on their phone. I felt it deserved a phone post to this thread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3iFhLdWjqc

Ha, yes, it is essentially a way of saying 'perfect score' by just putting the best possible score one could get on the LSAT.le_taon wrote:Is "180" supposed to be a compliment, like "A+"? Send it in, absolutely, but I've found them to be largely unresponsive about this stuff. Does anyone else have experience in this regard? Hopefully if you've had better luck than me you can share your secrets.GotYourselfAStewGoin wrote:I saw that Vargas said in the chat to send all of the offers you want her to consider for scholarship negotiation. I was looking over the schedule for ASW again to see what they added as the options for classes to sit on (they're posted, by the way), and this of course caught my eye:
Saturday, April 9
11:00 – 12:00 p.m. MOCK FIRST-YEAR CLASS WITH PROFESSOR AND DEPUTY DEAN
LIOR STRAHILEVITZ Room II

Just so you know, for those unfamiliar with Lior Strahilevitz and also missing ASW, TITCR.Dany wrote:http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/Muenchen wrote:I was looking over the schedule for ASW again to see what they added as the options for classes to sit on (they're posted, by the way), and this of course caught my eye:

Do you all think I can book it out of that class at 12:00 and still make my 1:43 flight out of Midway? I want it to be true...

How far is midway?JFo wrote:Do you all think I can book it out of that class at 12:00 and still make my 1:43 flight out of Midway? I want it to be true...
I've never been to midway, but I think it depends entirely on the crappiness of the airport.
If it's extremely busy like LAX, then no, but if it's anything like LAX's brothers, Long Beach or Burbank, I think you should be set if you can get there by 1.

Looking at bus times, I can get there in an hour no matter when I leave, but I don't want to offend His Awesomeness by leaving early.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
