I knew we were going to be friends! You have the funds, and I have years of encyclopedic knowledge of every bar within stumbling distance of Bobst. A winning combination.thecilent wrote:haha I'll def be buying many a rounds for all us. I is usually very generous at bars

Yep. I did a phone survey about NYU Law with that company a few moths ago in exchange for a $15 Starbucks gift card. Not a bad deal to basically rant about the awfulness of the LS admissions process for 20 minutes. I'll probably do the online survey if it's not too time consuming.incompetentia wrote:Anybody else get this sketchy survey email?

So LRAP is pretty much the most ridiculous backwards program ever, but at least I understand it now. What a [hugely beneficial] mess

finally finished accepting all the loans. I too accepted the maximum.
Hopefully after first semester I can gauge how my finances are and then cancel part of the loan in the second semester.

Just to confirm: if I accept the maximum this year, I can take care of the total student contribution by accepting lesser amounts during years or two or three, and be 100% LRAP eligible? That seems to be the group wisdom so far, but can't hurt to ask.
The overall hilariousness of this thread so far also makes me really excited to meet you all. Good group.

This is correct. You just have to make sure that the amount you decrease total over the 3 years is equal to your three-year SC (likely $5100).legalmindedfella wrote:Just to confirm: if I accept the maximum this year, I can take care of the total student contribution by accepting lesser amounts during years or two or three, and be 100% LRAP eligible? (Note that if you take an SA job where you're making more than $15,000 in a single summer, your SC will increase by the amount by which your salary for that summer exceeds $15,000.)

For paying tuition through loans, do we just print out a copy of our account on esuite and just write loans pending at the top and send it in?

That looks to be the way to do it, according to the packet.parsi wrote:For paying tuition through loans, do we just print out a copy of our account on esuite and just write loans pending at the top and send it in?
