And this is going to seem really random, but how old is everyone ITT? If you don't feel like sharing, that's cool. Or, if you want to give a range, that's cool too. Or you can PM me...!
FWIW I'm 25 and I'm really curious as to the kind of age range in the class up at CU

I am 23. I think they said they averaged 24 for last year's class.

Thanks!
I've visited a few places and age/maturity level of the class is becoming more of a factor than I thought it would, for whatever reason. I get the vibe that CU is pretty solid in this area, though.
eta: Just to reiterate, I'm really glad that I found this thread!

and i'm 38, but y'all already know i'm old

betting i'll be the senior member of the class!
ETA - ok, "direct you" is a bit strongly worded

i meant "invite you"

OH I already knew you were 'senior'
I know, I can't believe I just happened to stumble upon it seeing it pop up on the TLS homepage!
After I visited a school this past weekend, I realized that it's going to take A LOTTTTT to get me out of Colorado. Really. It was quite an overwhelming feeling, in a good way though. I've always liked it here, but I didn't realize the extent to which I'm tied to it.

Now I'm REALLY curious to read your review of UIUC!

As a CA native, I know exactly what you mean krad!! CO is the only place other than CA that I would want to live. Going to UNC would mean I would have to do a lot of legwork just to get back to CA.
Going to CU and I would be more than happy to find a job in CO

I PM'd ya, but it wasn't so much about UIUC as it was about realizing that I don't know if I really want to leave Colorado after all!
And yeah, as someone that did UG in CA, I also have a lot of love for that state. It's too bad the schools are sooo dang expensive

Precisely why I'm NOT going to a CA school

Yeah mountains! When I go home to FL to visit the fam, I've got the ocean, but whenever I'm in random states I'm kind of underwhelmed...

Thanks for sharing the photo. To those who have not visited Boulder yet, CU & CU's law school actually offers more stunning views.

Ha yes this is
very true! I'm about 20min outside of Boulder (towards Denver)... and the camera does not do the view justice

It's looking that way. I'm giving it this week to see if I get any scholly info from CU, and if not I'll be withdrawing and putting my deposit down at DU. I'm definitely glad to be staying in CO, and I think I have strong enough ties to the Denver legal market that I can get by without CU's prestige! (Of course, if they wanted to hand me a late full-ride, I'll send in my deposit now!!)

Dropping the deposit for reasons already mentioned. Good luck to everyone still deciding. CU in the fall... it's been a long time coming. It is going to be both an excruciatingly long next few months and a rediculously fast summer and spring.
Oh, I'll be 25 when we start in August.

So I'm currently in Boulder visiting my brother. I'm currently looking at the Flatirons and sipping a locally brewed beer and I gotta say its making me lean HEAVILY towards CU. I love everything about this place and I'm thinking the extra cost to go to CU would totally be worth it.
