I'll be transferring back home to UMD and starting in their PT program in the fall (C/O 2014). I'm from Bethesda, but have a free place to stay in Columbia, so I'll probably do the drive just to save money. What's the parking situation like?

Thanks for the info. How far is the garage from the law school buildings? Any chance we get deals for athletic tickets for games in CP or if there are tailgates for law students?ach24 wrote:Commuter garage is the Lexington Garage. It's $5/day for daytime students. I think if you park there after 4 pm, it's free for night students.SpencerPratt wrote:I'll be transferring back home to UMD and starting in their PT program in the fall (C/O 2014). I stumbled upon your thread so sorry if I'm thread-crashing, but I can answer this question since I went to UMCP.SpencerPratt wrote: Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure the law school (and all UM-B graduate schools) aren't DIRECTLY affiliated with UMCP in the same way that, say, UGA's law school is affiliated with UGA's undergrad campus. University of Maryland-Baltimore is a part of the University of Maryland system, but is still in many ways its own entity of graduate programs. Because of this, I don't think you'd get free athletics tickets like undergrad students do or any extra deals. I could be wrong, though.
