I called admissions and they said that postmarked by the 15th is fine.kam5361 wrote:I mailed mine Monday...should that matter for the April 15th due date? Its coming from PA so it should be there on time (and postmarked the 11th or 12th) but that wouldn't be considered late right? Can't lose the scholarship haha

Apartment Search - when to go?
I have a question about timing for apartment searching -
I will be coming from out the area and plan and taking a trip to do apartment searching sometime in June. When do people start looking for places with an August 1 start date for the lease?
Thanks!

I tried to make a FB page for us, but it won't let me create it. Something must be wrong with FB.

Okay, search for Villanova Law Class of 2014, it should work. Not sure if the whole 'page' thing was the best idea, but it doesn't let you create a group unless you invite friends to it, and seeing as I don't have you guys as friends yet, it won't let me. But once we all get on the page, we can create a group from there I think.

OK, I created a FB group page for us. Luckily, I had a fellow VLS 2014 friend to add, and that solved the problem.

Sent in my deposit a couple of weeks ago, but got accepted from Richmond WL yesterday...feeling a little torn
Thoughts?
Nova gave me $20k/year with no stip, but with the difference in COL it figures to around $10k.

I was accepted off of the waitlist at Richmond yesterday as well via phone call from Dean Rahman. FWIW, I declined, and told them that I was set on Villanova. Best of luck with your decision.AXObuckeye wrote:Sent in my deposit a couple of weeks ago, but got accepted from Richmond WL yesterday...feeling a little tornThoughts?

You got 20k with no stip? Mind sharing numbers? I'd really like to bargain with them to get the stipulation removed.AXObuckeye wrote:Sent in my deposit a couple of weeks ago, but got accepted from Richmond WL yesterday...feeling a little tornThoughts?

Wow, they cut you a solid deal. I have the same #s and I was given $15K with a GPA stip.

Yeah that's an awesome deal. I have $25k but 3.15 gpa stip and I'm 163/3.32, I am thinking of trying to get them to drop it.

honestly, i wouldn't worry about a 3.15 stipulation.irishvt14 wrote:Yeah that's an awesome deal. I have $25k but 3.15 gpa stip and I'm 163/3.32, I am thinking of trying to get them to drop it.

I'd rather know I was getting the $25k renewed than have it hanging over my head.mikeyp wrote:honestly, i wouldn't worry about a 3.15 stipulation.irishvt14 wrote:Yeah that's an awesome deal. I have $25k but 3.15 gpa stip and I'm 163/3.32, I am thinking of trying to get them to drop it.
