LOL. I can promise you that the one I posted is the one setup by students at the law school for the incoming class. I suppose they are both "real", except one is student ran for admits.

I'm badish, I'm a mod here and I'm also a 2L at NYU.

I can assure you the group listed by nyulawguy is, in fact, the group set up by current students at NYU for incoming 1L's.

I rang today and they gave me the email of the assistant director of admissions who deals with deferral requests, so I sent her an email explaining my situations and requesting to defer for 1 year. I really really hope they let me! I think it's a pretty legit reason (my employer not getting my work permit for teaching English in Vietnam delayed my ability to file for my fiancee's US visa, and now its too late).

April 14 & 15 (Dean's Cup on the 14th!)
