TCR is Three; Trinity; Boylan on Wednesdays (after you get your BWW 3 dollar burger); Virginian on Sundays; Backyard when Bilt's line is too long/Fridays during progressives; Coupe's to taste.

Other Restaurants You Should Visit: Continental Divide, Positively 4th Street, Duner's, Michael's,The Local
Other Specials You Should Know About: Three has $5 Tuesdays, Biltmore has $5 Wednesdays, Backyard has 25 cent beers on Fridays (goes up 25 cents every 20 min starting at 5)

Why does South Street get no mention? Do law students avoid it, or just not like ribs?

I think plenty of people go there, it just didnt fit into any of the categories. They have great beers too, a bit pricey to go for just drinking, but a nice spot for a good meal and quality brew.

Yea, there are plenty of places including South Street that went unmentioned that are fine but just not my/Swinger's top picks.

Miller's is pretty awesome too -- Sunday through Thursday, 8-9, is half-price beer, and they have a really decent selection of beer.

haha I actually don't think I've ever had the food there. I just needed a replacement for the Flying Saucer when I came here, and they have a good beer selection.

Well, don't. The food at Rapture, on the other hand, is very very high quality. Highly recommended.

Huh, I actually haven't been there. I'm here as an RA over the summer so I'm trying to branch out and try more places, I'll give that one a go.

I hate to say it, but they're a pretty mediocre bagel. That said, everybody in C'ville who's never had a bagel from someplace like NYC thinks that Bodo's is the best thing since sliced bread, so there's probably something to the argument that ignorance is bliss. I would sacrifice a small animal for Bellair right now, though.

Bodo's is an epic bagel failure. You aren't legit if you neither scoop nor toast.

Best restaurants in town: Maya, The Local, Zocalo. C&O deece but limited menu. Petit Pois on the downtown mall has solid brunch.

Most underrated: the Japanese market in Main Street Market...has way better sushi/sashimi than overpriced Ten.

Most overrated: Ten (priced like Nobu, tastes like Teeter), Mas Tapas

Best Brunch: The Tavern, Blue Moon, Blue Grass Kitchen, or Italian Villa

Best Sandwich: Bellair, Take it away, Feast

Best Ice Cream: Arch's, Chaps

Mexican: Continental Divide (ok, it's really Southwestern, but it's way better than anything else)

Best Bar (Dive): Durty Nelly's, Millers

Best Bar Food: Virginian, Millers

Best Wings: Wild Wings, St. Maartens (Thursday night special price)

Best Chinese: Taste of China (better than Peter Chang's plus better service)

Best Pizza: Fry Spring, Anna's, Crozet, Dr. Ho's Humble Pie

Best Burgers: Riverside; White Spot

Best BBQ: Belmont; Jinx; Pig & Steak (up in Madison County)
