I haven't been able to find a decent priced house. And all craigslist has is "rent to own". A lot of the houses too are pretty far from campus.

I've found several affordable places on this website, and they are pretty close to school. http://www.hreco.net/

Yeh, I've noticed CL is WS generally sucks. The local news papers were full of house rentals when I was there... Maybe try them, or their websites..

I asked this on the Wake Students thread. It seems they will only ask for one from your degree granting institution. I am going to email Jenny and check on it tomorrow. I will report back.girlonfire wrote:does anyone know if WFU wants a dean's cert?? and if so, do they want on for every school you've gone to??

Ok, so Jenny says that we will have to submit a dean's cert and official transcripts from our degree granting institution only.
She also said this would all be covered in the accepted students link that will be available in a couple weeks, lol.

Your school doesn't process these things over the Internet? I have to mail the deans cert but the transcript can be done online.jdemmitt wrote:Curses, now I have to go back to school! Thanks NC.

A certificate from your undergrad dean stating you left in good standing and had no academic problems.leidice wrote:What IS a dean's cert?

Dean certifies you didn't break any rules or if you did, it has been resolved.leidice wrote:What IS a dean's cert?

Re: Wake Forest University School of Law 2014
Alright, I'm done waffling - I'm picking Wake.
I'd been going back and forth between WFU (decent scholly) and George Mason (out of state sticker). GMU said there was a possibility of some scholarship money opening up, but I still haven't heard anything. Their seat deposit date is creeping up (4/15), and the deposit is $750! I can't justify that. I do want to be in DC ultimately, but the tuition just isn't worth it to go to school up there.
I was also still waiting on an admissions decision to UNC, but I've given up on them. Wake is actually cheaper for me than in-state tuition at UNC, the facilities are nicer, the classes are smaller, and people are friendlier. Carolina - you had your chance and you blew it.
So that's that. I look forward to meeting you all soon! (house hunt, perhaps?)
