aaah - its like 5.2 lbs. It fulfills and exceeds all the requirements, i got it at best buy. I was going to get a laptop with a 14" screen, but decided to go a little bigger b/c of the price. (375$ + tax). Would have preferred a little lighter, but the laptop got good reviews.
