uhhh... creepy stalker alert. loll jk but yeah i'm leaning more towards UoC. you know - the reviews about chicago are mixed. some say its depressing. some say its awesome. some say it will suck the life out of you until you are nothing but dry bones. everyone basically has good things to say about nyc except the $$ part. ultimately though, california is, was, and will always be king.

Honestly, i've heard nothing but good things about Chicago, and have had nothing but good interactions with the people who work at the school. The only bad things i've heard about Chicago all come second hand. I've actually been somewhat surprised by the degree to which some Chicago students love their school.

California is unbeatable, chicago is just a refreshing change for a while. are we talking about the city or the schools? I've actually talked to some ppl who really hated NYC who moved there for school from the bay

I've heard nothing but good things about U of Chi from the people who go there (including the people from my UG who were engineers....so take that for rigor). I've heard two critiques, LRAP and PI. Anything else is overblown. If you don't like it there it's probably you. But NYU is great too.

hey glitched i saw ur thread about debt and biglaw...i actually turned down 60k + instate tuition from UCLA last yr and am going near sticker at chic this yr, and I feel pretty good about it. PM me if you wanna talk about it....i didn't post in that thread cuz everyone seemed pretty hostile and I didn't want 10 ppl attacking me b4 you even got to read my post
