haha woops just that i liked UVa and a lot of the people I met there ...but can't see myself in Charlottesville for 3 years. So I guess I'll be peacing out of this thread. Buttt good luck to the rest of you! And I hope you have a blast at UVa!

Oh and I was a petite brunette wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

I was the only person that looked like a possible cast member from the Jersey Shore

Not yet. I was wondering if it was time to spring for a hotel, so I sent in an email to the "stay with a student" planners. The gist of their very nice reply was that they were swamped with coordinating the previous weekend, and requests to stay with a student are met on a first come, first serve basis. Hope that helps!

Based on the e-mails that have been sent to current students, they're still trying to find student hosts.

Anyone else get that email just now about finding a hotel?

Finding a hotel in the next week that's not a long-ass haul from the law school/isn't super expensive is going to be IMPOSSIBLE. Ugh.

You were right man, the top calendar is 2010-2011, below is 2011-12; says August 22nd for 1L orientation.

I have not decided, but I was really impressed with UVA and the rest of the class of 2014. I met quite a few cool people that I would definitely be friends with, and most are decided on UVA. It's definitely a solid choice I would be happy with. Financial aid is still going to make a large part of my decision, so the waiting goes on.
I hope I'm one of them ....I was impressed by some of the really cute girls, thats what really sold me other than the general demeanor

Of the schools I've visited so far I think that NYU had the hottest guys, but I've heard from my friends in LS now that UVa generally beats Penn and Michigan. My student hosts at UVa gossiped quite a bit about how many of their classmates were getting engaged to each other, sooo this is a legitimate concern. haha
