Just got in as well! 22 and no work experience either! I really hope I got into the JD-LLM in Human Rights program. If I did, then this is my first choice!!
Seems like they are low on URMs since they usually don't accept people without WE without stipulations (i.e. defer and work for a year to get a big scholarship)
haha. If they offered that stipulation, I'd take it.

I got in straight from UG, no work experience beyond part-time (it is at a start up and I wrote a Why NU about wanting to work with entrepreneurs) and summer jobs. I also submitted 0 LORs (got confused with their forms and just decided to take their recommendation of 0 letters.

You might be in a good negotiating position, I would give it a try.

Diversity days should have the same information as admit weekend in april, right? Or do people go to both?

That Bulls game is very tempting...

I checked the schedules for both of them and decided to just go to diversity. The things it seems like you miss out on by going to the diversity days and not the regular weekend are the financial aid seminar and the bluhm legal clinic stuff. Everything else seems like it should be covered during the Diversity days... and the bulls game!

I was thinking of taking a pass and waiting for ASW on it until I saw that.

Would a DRose jersey be too casual/pandering for the occasion? :)

In general mid March...I think last year they sent out the "full ride if you defer" offers first

Do you recall if they sent many of those last year or what type of applicants received that option?

Those tend to be given to people with numbers that get YHS and are straight out of undergrad. I think, though I am not sure, that they give those along with the acceptance because they are so rare.

Also, if you only go to Diverse Admit Day and not to ASW you will miss the wonderful Wigmore's Follies (our humorous Law Revue).

Looks like I'll have to do both then. So myself, SMA22, and Lakerfanimal will be there this weekend. Anyone else on board?

Has anyone made a hotel reservation for Diverse Day at one of the ones listed with NU discounts? Or is everyone just hoping to get hosted?

Anyways, was hoping to get an idea of which ones are giving better discounts (so I don't have to call them all...)

Also, if anyone was wondering about availability for the Bulls game, I e-mailed one of the coordinators about it and she said that in the past, everyone who has wanted to go has been able to.

Hey guys, thought I might ask this question to those already accepted!

So I submitted 1/27 and went complete shortly after my interview on 2/17. Today, my status checker changed to "complete 2/28."

Do you guys know what 2 completes normally means? It's awfully soon after my first complete, too...

Edited because I remembered too late to read back a few pages in the thread. Nothing to see here, move along.
