Off-topic: In about an hour, I'm taking a walk over to my campus's law school to talk to a professor (friend of a friend) who got his B.A., J.D., and M.D. degrees from UChi. I'm going to ask him all about what he thought of UChicago and Hyde Park as well as stuff about how he became a professor, but does anyone have any questions they think would be useful to ask in a one-on-one setting? I'm happy to report back, if anyone cares.

Is it really a competition if they dont even know. Reminds me of when I went to visit Dallas and one of the locals was going on and on about the Mavs-Lakers rivalry (since I'm from LA) and I sat there confused. I just sat there thinking, "We're rivals?"

I think a lot of people just arent set on a certain school yet. The only one I have joined is an unofficial HLS one. I wouldnt dare join an official one and then awkwardly leave later on.
