I originally had my physicians group mail the immunization forms and I faxed the others. I received a confirmation of the receipt of the fax, but then the mailed version was lost. I requested that my physician fax it and got a confirmation the next day it was receivedFlips88 wrote:Did anyone ever get a confirmation email after sending it in? or are we not supposed to get anything? Who'd you email? because I mailed it to the health services address which is in Evanston, IIRC.bdubs wrote:I originally had my physicians group mail the immunization forms and I faxed the others. I mailed it to the address on the form. I think it was health services.Flips88 wrote: Who'd you email? because I mailed it to the health services address which is in Evanston, IIRC.

Re: Northwestern Law Class of 2014
Just FYI: I emailed the health services and it automatically kicked back this:
Due to the receipt of a high number of emails at this time, my response to your email may be delayed up to one week.
NOTE: There are no penalties associated with the July 1 deadline, consequently, submission after this date is acceptable.
Admission Health Records received as attachments will be processed within 1-2 weeks. A confirmation email will be sent when it is processed.
Thank you for your patience.

Thanks. Though I already freaked out and spent the $13.50 to express it. Oh well.Flips88 wrote:Just FYI: I emailed the health services and it automatically kicked back this:

If you don't have all your immunizations you will definitely get an email from them letting you know, but I don't recall getting a confirmation email once I sent in my (incomplete) information.

Tetanus shot is a bitch... my arm was in debilitating pain for 48 hrs! The things I do for Northwestern...
Who all is living in McClurg Court? Or has this already been discussed? Just put a deposit down for a studio on floor 22, tower A. Hoping someone will play tennis at their awesome courts with me!

McClurg seemed way expensive.lawandi wrote:Tetanus shot is a bitch... my arm was in debilitating pain for 48 hrs! The things I do for Northwestern...

The indoor tennis courts seem awesome. I'm taking tennis lessons during the summer, so hopefully I'll get good enough to play a decent game!

I thought so too, so I called just to give it a shot since more NW students live in McClurg than anywhere else. Turns out they were able to give me $1100 off my first month's rent: $100 for being a student and $1000 for being extra-awesome (they said it was a special that happened to end the very day I called...who knows). And the gym is free. So it turned out to be as affordable as a studio in onterie for me.bk187 wrote:McClurg seemed way expensive.lawandi wrote:Tetanus shot is a bitch... my arm was in debilitating pain for 48 hrs! Seriously? I guess I didn't qualify as being extra-awesomelawandi wrote: I thought so too, so I called just to give it a shot since more NW students live in McClurg than anywhere else. I was told there is a $300 NU student credit and that some flats have $1000 incentives. Not all though.mango2281 wrote:Seriously? I sent by email and got an email reply, but that might be because my requirements are incomplete.Aine wrote:When/how did you send it in?Bumi wrote:I just got email confirmation that my health stuff was received yesterday.

I got a confirmation email but mine is incomplete. Apparently both measles shots have to be given after youre 1 and I got one before I was one. So now I have to get another or a blood test showing immunity. Annoying.
In other news, I applied for an apartment up by Belmont near lake shore. Anyone else up in that area?

Shot in the dark but.... any chance anyone knows the full measurements of the 2bedroom floor plan at Lakeshore Plaza? specifically the right bedroom (with the diagonal walls)? I called the leasing office but they said they don't know the full measurements... because they are stupid.

Just installed Office 2010 on my current laptop. (Didn't really need it, but my dad bought Pro and it allows two installs), and realized it includes One Note, which I'd never actually seen before, so I'm playing around with it. Kind of neat, in a geeky utilitarian software kind of way. Figure I should at least be somewhat familiar with it before trying to take notes on the first day of class (in 2012), since I've never taken notes on a computer before.

I was seriously considering "taking notes" on a History Channel documentary to see if I'm actually capable of converting spoken word & images to text.

Does anyone have a mac? I downloaded Growly Notes, which as far as I can tell is as close to OneNote as it gets, but there might be a better program out there.

I just use MS Word, but IAFG has a program called scrivener or something that she really likes.Aine wrote:You are all SO PREPARED.rinkrat19 wrote:I hadn't seen that, actually.
