GW Transfer RD 2020
Complete at GW for a week now. Anybody else anxiously awaiting a decision? Anybody already accepted to GW under RD?

Went complete on 5/22 and received an acceptance June 2! GW's status checker will change from "complete" to "under review" and then "decision rendered" from my experience. I received my decision the following business day after my status check switched to "decision rendered". Hopefully this helps!

Thanks a ton, and I do! Because of constant checking, I remember that it was almost exactly 24 hours between when I saw that a decision had been rendered and actually receiving an email! Hey all, I am a rising 3L at GW and transferred into GW last summer. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding OCI or anything else that you may be concerned about. Excited to have you all, I will likely speak at your orientation so maybe I’ll catch you there.

It’s def expensive for transfers. It was worth it for me because I’m getting the jobs I want and the name rings bell. My old school didn’t carry any weight.caffieneiv wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:03 pmJust got accepted! But probably will not be able to attend because of cost![]()

Re: GW Transfer RD 2020
When you transferred did you have to take any of the required 1L classes? At my current law school 1Ls only have one semester of contracts and one semester of civ pro so I'm a little worried I may have to take contracts 2 and civ pro 2. Also, feel free to pm me if that's better. I tried to pm you, but I couldn't figure it out.alquemiste wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 10:39 amHey all, I am a rising 3L at GW and transferred into GW last summer. Sorry for the late reply. My last school also offered two semesters of contracts so I didn’t take Con Law my first year. I was forced to take it at GW with the night students. The good thing is that the Professor was great and ended up writing me letters of recommendation.
