Re: UT Transfer -- Class of 2022
School is ranked #31
GPA: 3.7x
Class Rank: Top 15%
I went under review on 28 May and UT said they usually make decisions within 2 weeks, however, who knows if that can be adhered to during these trying times. At this time I have not gotten an interview request or any updates--but I will update when any changes occur.
Good luck to everyone and congratulations on having an outstanding 1L year!

Interviewed this week. Decisions are taking longer it seems--I don't think anyone was been formally accepted yet. Hopefully the first transfer admissions decisions will come next week! Good luck everyone.

Has anyone heard anything since an interview? I know one person who received a rejection but nothing else so far.

I haven't heard anything--they did tell me it could take up to two weeks which would, with my interview timeline, go into next week.
Do you know if the person you know who received a rejection interviewed? The reason I ask is that historically an interview = admittance. At the same time, historically an offer of admissions came within 48 hours of interviewing which is clearly not the case this year.

The person was not interviewed. Hoping you are right about interview = acceptance.LawStudentTransfer14 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 11:57 amI haven't heard anything--they did tell me it could take up to two weeks which would, with my interview timeline, go into next week.

Has anybody had any movement today? I feel like this week is the week for Texas transfers--but hopefully the beginning of the week and not the end.

Still silence all around? Today marks 2 weeks from my interview. Have deposit deadlines for other schools coming up very soon.

Same here, still nothing and it's been two weeks since my interview. Also have deposit deadlines for other schools coming up and I applied to all of them after Texas.

Has anyone heard anything from Texas? The timeline they provided has come and gone. Are they going to wait until July to release decisions?

Congratulations! Looks like at least a few calls went out this morning. I hope to get the call and join y'all in the transfer class (fingers crossed).

Is Texas done making decisions? It's been a couple weeks since my interview and i haven't heard anything since.
