Hi all,
Hoping someone might be able to shed light on my chances at HLS.
GPA: 4.075
Class rank: NA
School rank: ~50, no geographical ties to Massachusetts
In light of the coronavirus, my school has adopted an opt-in P/F policy after grades come out. What would be the impact on my application to "opt-in" to Ps in order to keep my gpa above a 4.0?
Please let me know if any additional information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Any application tips would also be greatly appreciated.

Re: Chances at HLS?
Hey! That's one hell of a GPA, and a good bit higher than their 75% from last year. You have very strong chances already. How electing to take P/F will affect your GPA is uncertain right now. If I had to speculate, it shouldn't hurt you too much since I believe Harvard themselves have gone mandatory P/F. That said, they'll be hosting a zoom transfer informational session, so hopefully you can get your question answered there.

Re: Chances at HLS?
HLS recently updated their Transfer application checklist, I recommend you check it out. In relevant part, they write:
"We understand that many law schools have shifted their spring 2020 semester grading policies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You will not be penalized in the transfer admissions process if your law school has adopted mandatory pass/fail grading for this semester, nor will you be penalized if you elect into an optional pass/fail system. Please see our blog for more information on this policy."
