Transfer chances for GULC or UCLA?
I go to a school ranked in the 40s-50s and got a 3.6 this semester. What are the chances I get in via EA for GULC or UCLA?

I don't know much about UCLA transfer stats. But your chances for transferring to GULC are very high. The earlier you apply the better.

The GULC transfer median was 3.67, and the 25th percentile was 3.56, and the same is basically true for UCLA. So it's not impossible, but also not anywhere near a lock. I'd recommend applying as early as possible, and hope you get your grades up this semester to have a stronger chance after second semester.

Re: Transfer chances for GULC or UCLA?
Beyond the question of whether you could get in, what are you looking to get out of transferring? GULC and UCLA feed into two completely different legal markets. Do you want to practice in D.C. or southern CA? Both? Neither?
Also, do you currently have a sizable scholarship? You'd be paying sticker as a transfer, and if you're looking to land BigLaw, I'm not sure a transfer to GULC or UCLA would help your chances all that much. At OCI, you'd still be treated as a student from your old school. You'd benefit from a greater number of employers attending OCI, but it's not a complete game-changer. If you're currently paying sticker, then yes, a transfer would make sense. But not necessarily if you're currently attending at a deep discount.
Finally, if you're able to get into Georgetown Early Action, that may make sense, due to the risk that your 1L spring grades may drop.
