I also received the interview e-mail yesterday. I didn't want to be the first to post about it since it seemed unusual!
I don't know if everyone is getting one but the interview slots they provided have filled up quickly so they are doing a lot between today and Thursday.

When did everyone sign up for the interview? When I clicked on the link there were no more available spots for today — wondering if it was just filled up super quickly or did they just not have any spots for today.

I can confirm, with a not insignificant note of sadness and resignation, that everyone has not received an interview request. Best of luck to everyone who has received one though, go kill it!

When I first looked yesterday, almost all the slots were still available (all day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Today, only some slots on Thursday were left.kangar00 wrote:When did everyone sign up for the interview? Question about the interview:
When did you receive the email of interview? Mine is 1:04PM (PST). My friend and me got the email at the same moment, so I am wondering if everyone got it at the same moment.
After I logged in the system. 6.25 is not available so I am curious if someone else got email earlier than us or it was not open for register.

I was also unable to register for 6/25 when I opened the link. Were there spots available for 6/25 throughout the entire day when you signed up?

Yes there were, all throughout day! But, for some reason the registration wouldn’t load on my computer when I tried to select/reserve a time so I did it on my phone and it worked that way.kangar00 wrote:transfertransfer21 wrote:vault101 wrote:Question about the interview:

I guess then they opened up to 45 slots for interview. Last year they only admitted for 30 or so.transfertransfer21 wrote:Yes there were, all throughout day! Yeah last year (2017-2018) they took 32 but 2016-2017 year they took 40 so maybe they have more spots open this year than lastvault101 wrote:I guess then they opened up to 45 slots for interview. Re: HLS Transfer 2019
I feel like there were definitely more than 45 slots tho. If it’s Tuesday through Thursday 9-5 then it’s close to 100... which seems like a lot. Anyone else who clicked on the link immediately has a better estimate?

I regret that I didn't count the slots. I don't think it was 4 slots per hour. Maybe 2 per hour? I know the first one was 8:30 or 8:45 and the last was 4:45.

I didn’t count but I don’t think it was 4 per hour either. Looking at the grid of time slots in total for the day there definitely were not enough for it to be 4 every hour.janereacher wrote:I regret that I didn't count the slots. Maybe 4 per hour but with a long lunch break so 6 hours x 4 slots = 24 per day = 72. From the 0L admissions threads it seemed that interviewees had a 70% chance of an admissions offer so that would bring us to 50 offers. I assume in prior years, the #s matriculated are lower than those given offers so 50 could become something like 32 - 40.

Agree here. I remember it being in 15-minute intervals with breaks littered. When I counted because I couldn't see Tuesdays at the time, guessing there were the same each day, it was something in the 60s total.janereacher wrote:Maybe 4 per hour but with a long lunch break so 6 hours x 4 slots = 24 per day = 72. The interview thing is new this year right? I asked and they said it was looking like final decisions were Wednesday/Thursday of next week but I can't see them coming out on the fourth...

Yeah same, the last day they said would be the 5th, but I feel that would be weird for people to have to come in to the office the day after a holiday to make the calls so hopefully it’s next Wednesdayamabe wrote:Agree here.
