The two law professors I want to ask an LOR from live away from school is it acceptable to email them and ask for a LOR?
also, for one of the professors I got an A in his class however I did not talk to him much should I try to find someone else?

You should ask them if they’re available for a call and then ask them on the phone. It makes it harder for them to say no and you’ll likely have a conversation about why you’re transferring which will give them the chance to get to know you. If you have another professor who knows you better, that’s preferable but it probably doesn’t really matter.
