I was exactly in your boat last year (was on west coast) and didn't get the call until like 10am or something. Also, if I remember correctly they were making calls well throughout the day (since they're calling over 40 people).

I doubt it. It's only 9:20 a.m. on the west coast, and they probably wouldn't call us at 6 or 7 in the morning, or really any time before business hours.

That makes sense. I'm on the west coast and the anxiety is real.

Better west coast than east coast haha. They're been awake for hours at this point, our day is barely starting. Also, I wouldn't expect any calls before 10 a.m. It's 12:49 in Boston, so they're probably at lunch.

This is a dumb question but how does one withdraw other transfer applications? Just send an email letting them know I've accepted elsewhere?

I'd probably call and ask who to send email confirmation to... that way, you can expedite the process for others. I plan to do this today for one school today.

Some schools (e.g. Chicago and NYU) will have a link to a page where you can accept or withdraw others (like Berk or Columbia) you can just reply to the acceptance e-mail to let them know you do not plan on accepting.

I remember I was super risk averse and didn't withdraw any of my apps until I could access my H account and had a written acceptance, but that's probably overkill.

Also - submitted my app on 6/15 but only went complete 7/3 because my undergrad delayed in sending my certification... How much of a disadvantage is this?

Do you think the phone call times are set by region? I seem to notice that a lot of the West Coast ppl are receiving calls now, whereas the East Coast ppl are the ones that received calls with the earlier batch.

T2, top 1-2% with 4.01 GPA. I'm guessing...
