I applied to transfer to HY, just to keep my options open. Got into H, waiting on Y.

I am not sure exactly what I want to do but I want to keep doors open. Planning on going for a clerkship. There maybe policy, impact litigation or DOJ stuff. I want to be in DC. I am interested in policy and went to undergrad in DC. Planning on doing biglaw for a little bit. Also H is my dream school that I was working towards when studying in undergrad.

Should I go to Harvard?

What about Yale if I somehow get in?

What are peoples opinions on the value of the prestige and network of H and Y, over time. Especially if you change jobs or decide to switch into a different industry?
Any idea how much aid you would get at Harvard or if your school would bump your scholarship?

Transferring might make clerking harder because you might lose your 1L profs as recommenders and the process has moved up into 2L so much.
